My name is Jocelyn Decker. I am currently a SUNY Oswego Junior student dual majoring in Cinema & Screen Studies and Broadcasting & Mass Communications. I am a director, editor, actor, cinematographer and more.
My Experiences
Director
I have worked on many projects from my time at CTE BOCES to my current projects here at SUNY Oswego directing with a variety of actors and staff. I’ve won awards for my editing, effects and overall performance such as 1st place in Festival Competitions.
Editor
I am experienced and passionate about my editing projects being most proficient with Adobe editing software but also having experience in others.
Cinematographer
Behind the camera I have had experience using a variety of shots to achieve the view I envision. I have worked with many camera types including Cannon, Lumix, Black Magic and have experience using a variety of broadcasting equipment.
Writer
I have written many scripts from short 3 minute projects to longer full 15 minute short films.
Actor
Although I love to be in control of the story, I also am passionate about being in front of the screen. I have acted in a variety of films drawing inspiration from many directors and years of practice.
